MonU Competitive Travel

The Competitive Travel season runs from August 1st through July 31st, with most teams wrapping up in mid June.  Our teams participate in fall and spring leagues, including ICSL, APL, and EDP and many also opt to play in a winter league.  Teams also compete in EPYSA approved tournaments and the EPYSA State Cups.  Competitive teams train a minimum of twice per week in the Fall, Winter and Spring.  Our U16 and older teams typically do not train in the fall while they are playing for their respective high school team.  Our coaches provide and develop tactical, technical, and mental training to enhance the performance of our players. Most Competitive teams are coached by a Nationally Licensed Coach.

Dave MacWilliams

Coach Mac is Montgomery United Soccer.  Coach Mac is a USSF National A Licensed Coach, and the former Head Coach of Division 1 Temple University Men's soccer.  He received the EPYSA Excellence in Coaching Award in 2016.  Prior to coaching, 'Mac' played professionally in the NASL, MISL, NPSL, and A League.

Paul Eisold

Coach Eisold is a former midfielder and fullback at East Stroudsburg University and Archbishop Wood High School.  He holds a NSCAA Premier Diploma, a USSF National C License, and is a member of the KNVB Coaching Symposium.  Coach Eisold is committed to sharing the excitement of the game with his players.  peisold@gmail.com

John O'Rourke

Coach O'Rourke's experience as a soccer coach is mighty! He holds a USSF A license, a USSF Youth license, a UEFA B license, a NSCAA Premiere diploma, and a NSCAA GK diploma. Coach O'Rourke has coached collegiately and was a former EPYSA staff coach.  He is also a NSCAA Associate Staff Coach Educator.  johorourke@gmail.com

Erica Sobieralski

Coach Sobieralski holds a USSF National D License, and is a former Division-1 soccer player from Villanova University.  Coach Sobieralski loves sharing her passion for soccer with her players as well as helping them build confidence in themselves.  erica.sobieralski@gmail.com

Sarah Stilwell

Coach Stilwell holds a US Soccer National D License.  She has played the game locally since she was 4 years old and has developed a strong passion for the game.  She previously coached in Rising Sun, MD where she developed a Middle School Soccer program for the county.  She coached at Rising Sun High School earning All-County Coach of the year.  Coach Stilwell loves to share her love of the game with her players.  She wants her players to be lifelong soccer players.   sstilwell17@gmail.com

Shayne Sanocki

Coach Sanocki holds a US Soccer National D License.  As an Alum of Montgomery United SC, Shayne is involved in many operational and on-field aspects of our organization.  She expresses a deep passion for soccer, along with a strong commitment to nurturing players' skills and fostering their love for the game.  Shayne is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Performance and Sport Psychology, from Grand Canyon University.    ssanocki05@gmail.com
